Sri Lanka’s pioneer herbal-based personal care products company Swadeshi Industrial Works has launched a new range of perfumes in four alluring fragrances that use the scent of eastern flower essence oils, to introduce Sri Lanka to naturally perfumed cologne sprays that are expected to be a hit with young and old alike.
The ‘Lady’ branded perfume range comes in four variants – Lotus, Araliya, Orchid and Jasmine and is richly perfumed with the scent of natural flower essence oils that keep the skin refreshed throughout the day.
Two of the variants of this perfume are firsts in the local fragrance market. Lotus and Orchid are internationally established fragrances and are used in the production of world renowned branded perfumes. Swadeshi is the first in Sri Lanka to launch these two fragrances giving consumers an opportunity of experiencing a bouquet of exclusive perfumes.
A spokesperson for Swadeshi Industrial Works said: “Decades of experience in using nature’s bounty in personal care products have gone into the development of these new perfumes. This addition to the Swadeshi range of products will represent our capability to manufacture fragrances using local ingredients and fragrances derived from tropical flora.”
“Swadeshi is renowned for its use of pure, natural ingredients and we are confident that the ‘Lady’ range of perfumes will be popular among working women in urban and rural areas and enhance the popularity of Swadeshi’s products beyond our existing customer base,” the spokesperson said.
Packaged in modern and attractive 33 ml glass bottles with transparent lids and metallic spray units, these perfumes are handy and easy to use and are ideal for women on the go. “The scent of natural flower essence oil is the main feature of these perfumes and will be the key differentiator from other local perfumes” she added.
