Research Scheme, an empowered authority in the yesteryears.
The company was transformed to a public quoted company in
year 1941, with a broad basing of the ownership. Walk through

with a touch of nature's gifts pioneered the toilet soap segment
and together with branded laundry soaps revolutionized the
soap industry in Sri Lanka in the dynamic history of the company.
Truly a Sri Lankan venture with a strong herbal heritage in
an ayurvedic setting, grew to be a multi billion dollar company
with many firsts to it's credit in the industry. The Swadeshi
Industrial Works Limited, now extend the ancient beauty therapy
and herbal heritage in an ayurvedic stratosphere that provides
personal care solutions blending nature gifts to give a touching
